How to play
- A tournament for the whole room: players are paired into tables and every table plays at once. With an odd count, someone gets a bye. Winners advance until one champion remains.
- Latin-American rules on an 8×8 board: men move one square diagonally forward and capture forward only. Light moves first.
- Capturing is mandatory and you must take the move that captures the most pieces. Jumps can be chained in one move.
- A man reaching the far row is crowned: kings fly along diagonals any distance, forward and backward.
- You win when your rival has no pieces or no moves left. You get 25 seconds per move (otherwise a random move is played). Drawn games go to whoever has more material (kings count 2).
